What to expect when visiting

We understand that when visiting a church for the first time you may have questions, and we have tried to provide helpful information below. If you still have questions after reading through the information, please give us a call at (859) 485-4864 from 9am to 12pm, Monday - Friday.

Where are you located?

Click here for Google Maps Directions. Our physical address is 2022 Verona-Mudlick Road, Verona, KY 41092. This works well in most GPS devices. We are located at the corner of the 4-way stop in Verona, Kentucky.

What about parking?

We have plenty of paved parking that surrounds the sides and back of the church building. We do ask that you enter to the right of the building to maintain the one-way flow of traffic. We do have several handicap parking spaces adjacent to doors with wheelchair accessible ramps.

Where should I enter?

If you are arriving for Sunday School, you can enter through the side covered door with the “Welcome” sign or the glass sanctuary doors. We will have greeters available to direct you to a Sunday School class. If you arrive for worship, enter through the glass sanctuary doors as we secure the other doors of the building during our worship time.

Is the building handicap accessible?

We have handicap parking spaces available when you first enter the parking lot. Please use the ramp leading up to the glass sanctuary doors.

Do you provide childcare during the Worship Service?

We provide nursery care for infants to children four years of age. On most Sundays, we dismiss children Kindergarten- 4th grades to children's church. However, you are more than welcome to keep your children in the service if you prefer. Read more about our Children's Ministry.

What activities do you have for youth and children?

On Sunday morning, we have Sunday School for babies through senior high starting at 9:45am. Children in the nursery class during Sunday School can stay thru the worship service if the parents prefer. On Sunday evenings during the school year, we have a TeamKIDS program for Kindergarten to sixth grade and Youth Discipleship for grades 7-12. We also offer special events throughout the year for our children and youth. (examples- retreats, camp, movie nights, etc.) These events will be posted on our calendar and in our bulletin. Read more about our Children's Ministry and Youth Ministry.

What is the worship service like?

Worship is a mixture of traditional and contemporary elements, probably best described as blended. We incorporate a variety of instruments during our worship time. The sanctuary has traditional pews. Words for songs and hymns are projected on a screen, as well as scripture passages during the sermon. As a visitor you will not be asked to stand during the service, but we do have a visitor information card that we encourage you to fill out so we can better serve you.

Come as you are!

Just as our service is a mixture of traditional and contemporary: the attire for the worship service is varied from dressy to casual. We invite you to come as you are.
