• Chad Brannan- Pastor

I was called to be the Pastor at New Bethel in 2017. My family and I are transplants from Virginia and we are loving Kentucky more and more every day. We feel God has truly called us here to New Bethel and to Big Blue Nation. It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as pastor of New Bethel and it is a great joy to see the Lord working here through so many loving and faithful people. I am excited to see what God has in store for us as we strive to remain faithful and obedient servants of Jesus Christ. My wife, Carrie, and I have three boys: Riley, Patrick, and Tyler. The boys are all active in the choir at their local school and we have been known to sing together as a family from time to time. In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching baseball, and spending time with my family. I consider it a great responsibility to preach and teach the Scriptures to others and I strive to do so in a way that holds true to the entire Gospel Message that has been given to us through God’s revealed Word. It is my hope that you would prayerfully consider joining us for worship as we seek to grow together in unity and likeness unto Christ. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6- “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”

  • Robert Strunk- Youth Minister

I enjoy ministering here at New Bethel. It is exciting to see the adults, children, and youth who are coming to know Christ as their personal Savior and it is fun to see new faces each week worshiping with us. My wife, Lisa, and I have three children: Nathan, Emma, and Jonathon. The younger two, keep us very busy with various sports and activities while our oldest is constantly coming up with new recipes and adventures for the family. In my spare time, I like to read books, watch movies, and learn about history. My hobbies include music and woodworking which are a big part of who I am and have come in handy in my ministerial life. I would love to know how I can minister to you and your student here at New Bethel. My favorite verse is Romans 8:18- “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.”

I love my family! We are a blended family full of challenges and there is never a dull moment. My wonderful wife, Tammy, is the most important piece in our puzzle. Our two little grandchildren, Alayah and Isaac live with us, but we receive help from our two teenage girls, Bethany and Kairos, as well. Tammy and I also have three older children, Cana, Josiah, and Hannah who no longer live with us. My hobbies include work, church, and child transportation. What excites me most about our church is leading our choir and how much Brother Chad loves the Lord and preaches Jesus every Sunday. My favorite Bible verse is John 9:25- “He answered and said, whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know; that though I was blind, now I see.”

I am excited about the future here at New Bethel. What excites me the most is the people. I love the members here and all the families that have chosen to worship with us and I especially love the kiddos! The children are where my heart is. I have grown up here at New Bethel and have always felt loved. I love doing things with the children whether its Sunday School, Team Kid or VBS, I just love hanging with the kids. I want them to feel loved and to know that Jesus loves them most of all. My family is important to me as well. My husband Ron, and I, have two sons: Scotty and his wife Audrey live in Fredericksburg, Va. with our grandson Liam and our youngest son, Shawn, lives at home with us. I love to cook and especially for the holidays, I love to bake, decorate and fix big meals for the boys. When I have time, I love to craft too. My favorite Bible verse is John 3:16-  “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

  • Dawn Fay- Sunday School & Children's Church Director

I love Jesus and people. I am passionate about helping individuals know God, grow, go with Him, and actively live within the most intimate and beautiful relationship they will ever have--a meaningful life with a loving God.

My family and I joined New Bethel 2017. My husband is Nathan, and we have six children: Allie, Simon, Natalie, Valerie, Lucy, Joel, and one rather spoiled beagle-Bassett hound named "Buddy." When I'm not exploring nature with my family, kayaking, rappelling cliffs, or whitewater rafting, you'll find me laughing and enjoying strong, black coffee and good conversations with family and friends. If you throw in some Chipotle, Jelly Belly candy, and UK basketball on the tv, I'll call it a perfect day.

My favorite passage of Scripture is Isaiah 61: 1-3 HSCB- “The Spirit of the Lord God is on Me, because the Lord has anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of our God’s vengeance; to comfort all who mourn, to provide for those who mourn in Zion; to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, festive oil instead of mourning, and splendid clothes instead of despair. And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the Lord to glorify Him."
