• Travis Ammon-Pastor

I am originally from Louisville, KY, but life and ministry have taken my family and I all over the US and the globe. My wife, Victoria, and I started ministry full time in 2015 in South Carolina, where we later met and adopted our two daughters, Logan and Gracie. In 2018, we moved to Texas for ministry and that is where the Lord brought us into overseas missions. Through a long-standing relationship with a church in Gdansk, Poland, we moved overseas in 2021, where we served faithfully until 2025. In May of 2026, we began our ministry to New Bethel Baptist Church and could not be more excited to serve this church and community. I love to be outdoors, hiking and kayaking, or watching sports. I also enjoy a good book or jigsaw puzzle.

  • Stephen Howard-Youth Pastor

Emily and I moved here in January of 2023 with our two cats Cheddar and Colby. I am originally from the Great People’s Republic of Maryland. We ended up here in Northern Kentucky because God called me to pastoral ministry in 2021. Coming to New Bethel Baptist Church has been a tremendous blessing because both the community and the church have been welcoming. My heart’s desire for New Bethel is that the youth (along with the rest of the church) would grow in their knowledge of Christ so that they could glorify God with their lives. In 2025 Emily and I began the process of adoption, and in March of 2026 we finalized the adoption of our daughter Maria.  My hobbies include playing video games, exploring new places, trying new restaurants, cats, and relaxing with Emily. My favorite book of the Bible is 1 & 2 Kings.

  • Stacey Griffin- Music Minister

I love my family! We are a blended family full of challenges and there is never a dull moment. My wonderful wife, Tammy, is the most important piece in our puzzle. Our two little grandchildren, Alayah and Isaac live with us, but we receive help from our two teenage girls, Bethany and Kairos, as well. Tammy and I also have three older children, Cana, Josiah, and Hannah who no longer live with us. My hobbies include work, church, and child transportation. What excites me most about our church is leading our choir every Sunday. My favorite Bible verse is John 9:25- “He answered and said, whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know; that though I was blind, now I see.”

  • Kathy McDannold- Administrative Assistant

I was born and raised at New Bethel.  I have also served as the Administrative Assistant since 2003.  When I am not serving at the church, I enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as crafting.  My favorite scripture is Matthew 19:14- Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
